What is Get Rekt Publishing
I feel like I say the sentence, “Hi! My name is Alicia Jeanne” all of the time, but it feels like the perfect time to say it again! So Hi, my name is Alicia Jeanne, owner and founder of Get Rekt Publishing. In 2022 I published my first book, GoulCrest, and knew that was only the start of career in the publishing world.
After publishing Vuthrie, my second book, I started to dive into the world of developmental editing and professional beta reading. Why these two areas, you might ask? Because I didn’t start as a writer, but as a reader who fell in love with fantastical worlds that authors created. Then, when I started writing, I realized how much work went into writing the story that people fall in love with.
Now Get Rekt Publishing LLC is the home to the books that I publish under Alicia Jeanne and A. J. Dugan, as well a company that helps authors achieve their own publishing dreams.
Get Rekt’s goals
Founded in 2024, Get Rekt Publishing has sat idle while I focused on writing and editing my books, while also focusing on honing my skills in developmental editing and professional beta reading. In the year 2026 Get Rekt Publishing LLC has the big goal of accepting our first few clients for developmental editing and professional beta reading services.
